The NBU has revised settlement deadlines for certain export transactions in line with proposals received from the government (Ordinance of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 573 On Amendments to Ordinance No. 76 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 13 February 2019 dated 21 June 2024.
Taking into account the results of consultations with the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the NBU is extending the settlement deadlines from 180 to 270 days for transactions to export agricultural and specialized machinery conducted from 1 March 2026. This applies to goods classified under the following UCGFEA codes: 8424, 8428, 8432, 8716.
Extending of settlement deadlines will contribute to an increase in exports of agricultural and specialized machinery, stimulate growth in production volumes and investment in the development of machine-building enterprises, help preserve labor potential and create new jobs, expand opportunities for entering new markets, and ensure increased returns of FX earnings to Ukraine.
Said amendments were approved by NBU Board Resolution No. 18 On Amendment to NBU Board Resolution No. 67 dated 14 February 2019 dated 26 February 2026, which comes into effect on 28 February 2026.
