This set celebrates the main attributes of Ukrainian statehood – the coat-of-arms, flag, and anthem – integral components of the nation’s identity, deeply rooted in the culture, history, and mentality of the Ukrainian people. The trident – the emblem used by Kyiv Rus Prince Volodymyr the Great – embodies historical continuity, spiritual unity, and the Ukrainian people’s aspiration for freedom and self-determination. The flag, combining blue and yellow, symbolizes prosperity, natural wealth, and the flourishing of Ukraine. These are the colors of the clear sky and the wheat field, which were officially approved on the flag of the Ukrainian People’s Republic. Over a century and a half, the patriotic song “Ukraine has not yet perished” has become a powerful symbol of the struggle for independence, inspiring Ukrainians to unity and strengthening a sense of national pride.

Reverse of Ukraine’s Coat-of-Arms coin: framed by sunrays, against a smooth background, is a composition of tridents that symbolizes Ukrainian historical heritage – from the emblem’s origins, Sviatoslav the Brave’s two-pronged symbol and the signs on silver and gold coins, through the signs of the 1917–1921 Ukrainian Revolution, to the modern state symbol (depicted as a latent image). The Cossack symbolizes a free person, a protector, a warrior, a traveler, and a skilled horseman – embodying the Ukrainian mentality and serving as a symbol of Ukraine’s eternal protector, updated with modern realities: instead of a saber, modern weapons hang on the oak tree. In a semicircle above the Cossack, are the following lines from the anthem, which are still relevant today: ДУШУ Й ТІЛО МИ ПОЛОЖИМ ЗА НАШУ СВОБОДУ / І ПОКАЖЕМ, ЩО МИ, БРАТТЯ, КОЗАЦЬКОГО РОДУ (Soul and body shall we lay down for our freedom/ and show that we are brethren of the Cossack nation). To the right of the Cossack is the legend НАШЕ / ГАСЛО (our slogan).

This coin celebrates Wilhelm Franz von Habsburg-Lothringen (1895–1948), a member of the European aristocracy who entered Ukrainian history under the pseudonym Vasyl Vyshyvanyi. An Austrian archduke, a colonel in the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen legion, a poet, a diplomat, and a statesman – he was a vibrant and extraordinary participant in the Ukrainian liberation struggle of the early 20th century. Holding a prominent position both in the military and in international diplomatic circles, Vasyl Vyshyvanyi, through all his activities, affirmed the ideals of an independent, unified Ukraine. Thanks to his active involvement, the Austro-Hungarian Empire was one of the first countries to officially recognize the Ukrainian People’s Republic.

Obverse: there is a stylized composition that includes an element of the cockade of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen legion: a heraldic Galician lion resting on a stone block with the legend У.С.С 1914 (Ukrainian Sich Riflemen), with 1914 being the year the legion was founded). Against a smooth background are the legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) and a facsimile of Vasyl Vyshyvanyi’s signature (above); there are also the coin’s issue year 2025, Ukraine’s small coat of arms, the coin’s face value 2, the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, a stylized quill pen symbolizing Vyshyvanyi’s poetic and diplomatic activities, the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works and the legend ВІЛЬГЕЛЬМ ФОН ГАБСБУРҐ (Wilhelm von Habsburg) (beneath).

Reverse: against a smooth background is a stylized portrait of Vasyl Vyshyvanyi, wearing a vyshyvanka (traditional embroidered Ukrainian shirt) and a kozhukh (sheepskin coat) – clothing items that became part of his personal identity. To the left is a decorative ornament with clover leaves, which was a talisman for military luck for Ukrainian Sich Riflemen soldiers, and which adorned the cover of Vyshyvanyi’s poetry collection, “Passing Days...”, dedicated to the fighters for Ukraine’ s freedom. Above the composition is the semicircular legend ВАСИЛЬ ВИШИВАНИЙ (Vasyl Vyshyvanyi), and to the right are the years of his birth and death, 1895–1948.

This coin is dedicated to the traditional pottery art that originated in the village of Opishnia in Poltava oblast and dates back to the 17th century. Opishnia ceramics has become an iconic phenomenon of national culture, in both its artistic and ethnographic dimensions. It combines profound artistic originality with an exquisite technique of execution, both of which have been preserved and passed down for centuries from generation to generation. In 2012, Opishnia ceramics was added to the National List of Ukraine’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, which attests to its significance as a component of cultural identity.

Obverse: the central composition features a zoomorphic sculpture titled “The Lion,” created by Vasyl Omelianenko (has a decorative element with color printing). Flanking the sculpture are fragments of the distinctive applied decor typical of zoomorphic sculptures. To the right are Ukraine’s small coat of arms, the coin’s issue year 2025, the legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), the coin’s face value 5, the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, and the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works.

Reverse: there is a stylized composition created from elements of the traditional ornamental decor of Opishnia clay products, particularly plates – true gems of Ukrainian folk art – which seem to extend beyond the boundaries of a single piece. Above is the legend ОПІШНЯНСЬКА КЕРАМІКА (Opishnia ceramics).

This coin celebrates the powerful Vampire hexacopter – a symbol of technological superiority, ingenuity, and the strength of Ukrainian resistance. Developed in 2022, the multi-purpose Vampire drone has proven to be a highly effective tool for precision strikes, remote mining, and humanitarian aid. It is actively used by leading units of Ukraine’s security and defense sector, with over a million operations confirming its effectiveness and combat reliability. This coin honors the contribution of the Ukrainian engineers and developers of military and technological solutions who are changing the course of modern warfare and strengthening the nation’s defense capabilities.

Obverse: against a matte background, a mutilated earth surface with characteristic craters is depicted, reflecting the marks of explosive device impacts. In the left part of the composition, defensive trenches are positioned, emphasizing the defensive nature of resistance. To the right, a damaged and burning enemy tank is depicted, symbolizing the successful destruction of enemy equipment. Above this dynamic battlefield scene, the silhouette of a Vampire drone hovers in flight. In the central part of the composition is Ukraine’s small coat of arms; below are the following legends: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), the face value 5, the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, and the coin’s issue year – 2025. Beneath in the center is the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works.

Reverse: the Vampire hexacopter is depicted at a crucial moment of performing a combat mission – in flight while dropping ammunition. Serving as a background for the central element is a stylized cloud from which lightning bolts emerge, symbolizing the power, speed, and unavoidability of the strikes delivered by this drone. At the top of the coin, the legend reads VAMPIRE.

This roll celebrates the central executive body that protects human rights and freedoms, combats crime, and maintains public safety and order in the country. This coin honors the professionalism, courage, and dedication of police officers who daily stand guard over the safety of Ukrainian citizens. Each roll is packaged in souvenir paper featuring the legends БАНКНОТНО-МОНЕТНИЙ ДВІР НБУ, ОБІГОВА ПАМ’ЯТНА МОНЕТА, НАЦІОНАЛЬНА ПОЛІЦІЯ УКРАЇНИ, 25 ШТУК (the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works, circulation commemorative coin, the National Police of Ukraine, and 25 units), the face value of the roll – 250 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works, and an image of the emblem of the National Police against the backdrop of Ukraine’s national flag.

Reverse: there is a stylized composition depicting representatives from various police units, symbolizing their professionalism, courage, and dedication to service. Above the composition is the emblem of the National Police of Ukraine – an eight-pointed star with Ukraine’s small coat of arms at its center. There is the following circular legend: at the top, НАЦІОНАЛЬНА ПОЛІЦІЯ УКРАЇНИ (NATIONAL POLICE OF UKRAINE), and at the bottom, СЛУЖИТИ ТА ЗАХИЩАТИ (TO SERVE AND PROTECT) – the motto reflecting the core mission of this law enforcement agency.
